Marriage agencies can be divided into Mail Order Brides and Email Order Brides agencies. They, in their turn, are classified into western-based and local based agencies (Russia, Ukraine).
The main difference between Western-based and Local-based agencies is the location of their head-offices: a “head” of Western-based agencies is based abroad, and a “head” of Local-based agencies is here in Russia or Ukraine. Though, as a rule, the founders of Western agencies have many local representatives.
The strong point of Western agencies is they are in keeping with customers’ needs and demands better than local ones. Most of them have large databases, but sometimes it turns out to their defects, as the larger database is the more difficult is to manage and keep it update. The strong point of local-based agencies is they know their clients personally.
